A year ago almost to the day, we had our first workshop in Hammerfest. Little did we know that society the way we knew it was about to change drastically and also cause major changes to our project. Here is the Post about Hammerfest workshop 2020 . Have a look! Teacher mobilities, student contact were put on hold due to the corona virus, as the situation was very severe in many of the participating schools. At some point we had no students in real classrooms and many of our planned activities were cancelled. The project teachers are no big fans of the corona virus, but as our project's motto is MISSION POSSIBLE, we have spent the last year preparing for facing the challenge. We will come back with more virus resistent lesson plans and activities. Stay tuned! Meanwhile, you can have a look at these pictures from a year ago (there are more in this post about the Hammerfest workshop in 2020 ). January 2020. North Cape excursion. Fond memories!
Welcome to our blog! Foreign Language Teaching into the Future is an Erasmus+ project with schools from five different European countries; Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Norway and Spain. Our main aim is to have a closer look at students’ motivation for learning foreign languages. Through a number of workshops, shared lesson plans using new technologies and exchanges, we hope to develop new and interesting lesson plans and methods that will be used in classrooms all over Europe. Knowing foreign languages will be an important skill for the future. It gives you more opportunities both in professional and personal life. FLTF: Mission Possible! Kickoff! November 6 – 8, we met for the first time in Taranto, Italy. The venue of the meeting was IPS Cabrini, a secondary school in Taranto in the south of Italy. After three hectic and very nice days with hard work , getting to know each other, many interesting meetings with teachers and students at our host schools and a lot of excellent local food, we are happy to say that the project is now officially started. Our new slogan, Mission Possible, perfectly sums up our feelings after this meeting! This is going to be a very interesting journey! Thanks to teachers and students at IPS Cabrini for giving us an extremely interesting day in the audiovisual department. Below you can see some of the results:
