Workshop 1: Hammerfest Cold FLTF teachers at the Meridian Monument The end of January far above the Arctic Circle is a tough time, also for the natives, who are used to darkness, snow and extremely low temperatures. Therefore, we think that our partners were really brave when they agreed to come to Hammerfest at exactly this time. The first workshop in Hammerfest became a bit more exciting than we had planned, with an (even for Northern Norwegian conditions) extreme weather, which made for some interesting travel plans and some very cold sightseeing experiences!
